PIERCETON – The fourth annual Nora Stephens charity golf outing is set for May 10 at Little Bighorn Golf Club. The event, which will raise money for the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund in honor of Stephens, has raised thousands of dollars to support those afflicted with cancer in the county.
Stephens lost her battle with lung cancer in 2010, to which the memorial golf outing was created to help those also battling cancer.
Entry fee for a four-person team is $240 (or $60 per person) with all proceeds going to the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund. Registration will run through 9 a.m. on the 10th, with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
Among the side events going on at the Stephens golf outing include a silent auction, closest to the pin contest, longest drive contest, marshmallow drive, 50/50 drawing and more to be announced.
